January 20, 2007 ~ The Beach

I am loving this Project 365 challenge! I have been using my camera every day and have found that taking pictures truly makes me happy. I have to admit that I enjoy the post-processing too. I went out to the lake today...one of my favorite places to be. My family has been coming to this lake since I was a baby. My mom has been coming since she was a child. I have many, many fond memories of our summers at "The Beach". It is where I had my first job...and where I had my first kiss. It will always hold a very special place in my heart. Now I get to watch my children make their own memories at the Beach...they already love it too!

In this picture you can just make out the lake in the horizon. It is SO cold there now, I couldn't get much closer. This photo is very photo shopped. I wanted to put some color in the sky so I used the selective colors to do that. I also added a vignette. I thought it added interest to the picture. Thanks for looking!
