Well it has officially snowed every day for a week now...and it is still coming! So much for our mild winter. I don't mind though. I love a good snowstorm. There is something so beautiful about a world covered in a thick blanket of snow. The picture above is of one of my rings. The reason I chose to photograph it today is that it reminds me of a snowflake. It is the ring my wonderful husband gave me for having to suffer through childbirth...twice!! He gave it to me on the Mother's Day after the birth of our second (and last) child. It really is a beautiful piece of jewelry. It is something I will cherish for a lifetime.

Reminds me of when i was in the hospital the day after giving birth ~When my husband hadn't shown up by lunch I figured, he must be out picking me up a piece of jewelry.. but no ~ he was just home sleeping ~ you know he was tired after all the work he did through the night staying awake and all... LOL!! He did better with #2! HA!!
