January 31, 2007~ "Shoot the Moon"!!

1/80" F14 ISO=125 200mm(tightly cropped)

Have you ever played Pitch? It is a card game. We played it all the time when I was a teenager at our camp by the lake. It is really a fun game...although I am not sure I remember all the rules...it has been a LONG time since I have played. I do remember that there was something you could do called "shoot the moon". Basically if you pulled off a chance to "shoot the moon", you won (I think...well you at least won the round)! Because of this, I always tend to think of the summers playing Pitch when I look up at the moon (especially when it is full). Well tonight I as inspired by Louisa to take a photo of the moon. She made a very nice comment on yesterday's pictures and really sparked my interest in shooting the moon. I looked over this article for tips. It was really fun! So here is my attempt to "Shoot the Moon"...What do you think? Did I win??

PS...Sorry I haven't been commenting as much...my little ones still aren't better and need lots of Mommy lovins'

Very cool. You are very talented. You really should consider going into business so that your husband could quit his job and spend more time fishing. Just a thought..............
