January 7, 2007 ~ Anticipation

I live in the Northeast. We are used to cold winters and snow days...this year has been an exception. While the west is getting pummelled with snow, we are enjoying weather that is more reminiscent of Spring (even my crocuses are confused...I noticed them popping up yesterday!). Well, most of us are enjoying it that is. This past fall my husband and I decided this would be a great year to set up our backyard ice rink. We told our son and Santa even brought all the necessary hockey gear. He has been waiting anxiously for it to be ready. Unfortunately it doesn't look like that will be anytime soon!

My dd would kill to have our own skating rink in the back yard! So sorry your son is not getting his snow. It will probably come in June! hahaha

You did a great job capturing his mood. I like the conversion :)

Poor thing! Weather is crazy, whatever you want/need, it does the opposite!
